RxScan Perpetual Inventory System (RxScan PI) is an enterprise wide, streamlined web based inventory system that functions in real-time. It enables the tracking of medication inside of the central pharmacy and other storage locations across the facility. The system is a centralized, secured and intuitive site that easily manages the availability, whereabouts and stock levels of all medications through a powerful yet easy to use interface. It tracks the information about medications stocked at all locations within an entire organization. Locations that can be tracked include but are not limited to hospital pharmacy, urgent care, clinics, surgery centers etc.
RxScan allows for access to medication information by scanning the product’s barcodes. It utilizes 1D and 2D NDC barcode reading to provide a fast and simple method for locating and documenting throughout the site.
RxScan PI seamlessly integrates with the leading electronic medical record vendor, automated Pharmacy storage systems, and multiple primary pharmacy suppliers.
