The Ultra Verifier reduces prescription errors by comparing the medication, its strength, and its container size to the patient’s prescription label.
Our solution is a “stand-alone” system that complements any pharmacy’s workflow. The Prescription Verifier immediately indicates whether the NDC numbers match after scanning the prescription label’s barcode and then the manufacturer’s stock container’s barcode.
The LCD color display expedites the final checking process. The pharmacist can match the contents of the patient’s bottle with a picture of the correct product on the screen (without having to open the stock drug container).
The RxScan Ultra Prescription Verifier Kit includes RxScan Reports software which is a vehicle for reviewing the data collected from the scanner and preparing audit reports. This data may also be exported to Excel for further analysis.
