RxScan NDC Smart® Label Design & Print is a flexible and efficient label printing program for labels used in pharmacies and hospitals. It is used to print UD packaging labels, Employee badge bar codes, Blister card labels and NDC # reference bar code labels. NDC # reference bar code labels are used with the RxScan Ultra RoboCheck solution.

The software includes pre-defined templates for Avery and Health Care Logistics label product offerings. It also enables creating custom layouts for virtually any type or size label. It supports the use of 13 different and distinct barcode symbologies on any label. Font type, color, size and attributes (bold, italic, and underlined) can be user defined and combined on any label for increased awareness marking.

NDC number barcodes, as well as the proper drug information on each label, help to assure that the right drug and dose is being administered to a patient.
